Never seen an Olivetti like this, maybe meant for specialized tasks like ticket emission, postal service, whatever...

dont know, the only other reference to this board I could find was for dust covers, so they seem to be pretty rare
You should keep your eyes open, if they show up anywhere then most likely in Italy

Usually the olivetti keyboards are olivetti made, and usually are gray and with a good design, and this one lacks all the three features.

So could be a recent "production", or a specialized one, ore something made for a foreign Olivetti subsidiary.

Anyway where are you from, and have you an idea about how many years old could be that keyboard ?

the keyboard(casing) was made 05/90 and im from ger (you might know me over at deskthority, we once had an "argument" over an ibm model m :D)
and it actually was gray at one point (not cherry beige), the case yellowed a lot (unlike the keys)
the desing ... wont argue about taste, i like the simple beauty of cherry boards a lot

Edit: so many typos

Surely cherry boards aren't ugly but design is not their strongest point.

To be clear those are tipical olivetti boards...

You may like or not the design, but the design was used to be a main part on the Olivetti products

It depends

The last one from the envision is clearly a scissor board, the second one is a fantastic rubber dome, and is by far one of the most common Olivetti boards.

The first one (if I remember correctly) is a clicky mechanical but I've never opened one, so I'm not sure if Alps or proprietary switches were used.

About the Filco looking one from the M15 I haven't touched one, but almost surely Alps based, (afaik was designed in Italy but built in Japan)

Wow... congratulations. I'd be very interested where you found so many vintage swiss keyboards. Luck on ricardo and ebay, or something even more specific? I've been looking on and off but haven't been very successfull. I've had to settle for a german Model M. I type blindly, so it doesn't really matter, but it'd be really cool to have a proper swiss set :)

And my nearly new Model M with swiss keycaps will stay that way for a loooong time.

I had a rubber model M with swiss layout from ebay kleinanzeigen, where i missed to ask the seller beforehand for the modelnumber.
the rest is basically the result of a trade i made with a local against some other minor electronic stuff. no idea from where he had them.

If you live in switzerland you might try to post a local classified ad or something similar

Yeah, I live here. That's not even a bad idea, didn't think that far. I've tried asking around at some companies, but none were very cooperative in giving me random crap. Would've saved them some money, but probably wasn't worth the effort for them.
