I'm fairly certain if going with GMK you can forget having any of the non-standard legeds, like the hearts, arrows, etc.

Yeah from what I recall they only do cherry font but I wouldn't mind that really.

I believe the LOVE looks like the NErVE leaf thing but it's quite common for LOVE as well.

I love the modifiers and design changes, let's make this set unique instead of just changing it to a pink mods on white.. which is essentially how GMK will end up. Not to mention pink only appeals to a few people, people who will buy this will buy it regardless.

The LOVE key is not 100% certain but that's the spirit. I need to have the artwork done to see whether we could have that key or not. I still have other options.

I don't want to copy the previous Valentine set, so both sets will have its own features and the feeling over them. I have one set of the 1st round Valentine so I want to creat new set that I would like to buy it again ^^

I'm preparing the new GDSV kit also :3

I like the original novelty caps personally--this one seems more "cheesy" and Barbie-like to me.  Especially the "love" Esc legend.  I'd stick with the original Esc and bring back the "I <3 you" Enter.

I like both of the designs. Love the colors. Love the modifiers with the centered text and the new set with the icons.

If you choose to do the centered text for the modifiers, please consider including a command "CMD" key in addition to the "WIN" for all the Apple fanboi's like me. SP has the icon if you choose to use the "⌘", but "CMD" would work if you're using text.

I think you should definitely make this the most unique keyset, I honestly am tired of all the keysets where all they do is change the font and mod color. I love where you are going on this but I know it'll be hard to satisfy everything, perhaps make a kit where there are many options of escape key, mods?

If this set was SA Profile, I would buy it. So long as the caps were the correct size, i.e. Shifts.

SA is great, but not great for some keyboards where the caps don't dip far below the top cover.  Like on a Poker or on a Ducky, SA would look VERY tall.

Have you heard the expression "Home is where the heart is"?  You could do the Home key as a heart. I also think this set would look really great with Cherry legends.

Also Valentines day is 177 days away, if I remember correctly didn't the last valentines set arrive months early? Hold out for Cherry legends

Shouldn't all the legends be centered? The numerics are left justified and it's a combination of both center and left justified on the home cluster.

I think many/most of us would want to achieve a TKL set with pink mods and white alpha base. So please add an "additional kit" that's pink base instead of grey.

also, please please please please go back to round 1 legends for the letters. No offense but I really hate the large centered legend. It doesn't fit with the rest of the text on the board, and it gives a retro old feel instead of the fresh hawt pink

That's what Round 3 caps are like and a number of other sets, such as DSA Retro (large legends that is) and many of us like them.  I think they are cool.

yeah, I get some people like the retro style but it has to go well with the theme of the design.

Retro Set: large centered letters, centered large capitalized letters on other caps, dark colors

but the Valentines set is suppose to give you a bright refreshing feel, think roses, chocolates, flowers, etc. But if you slap the retro styled letters on it it really gives off an opposite effect. It's like sticking an old apple logo from the 1990s on a iPhone 5, it just doesnt work. sorry. either go all old or all new, dont mix it.

Talking about just the large centered alphabet letters, I don't think that it looks new, or old. It just looks better than the top left aligned ones to me.

The legends are bigger, and with Pink color they will be so cool on White cap, very attractive
I don't get the "old style" from anywhere about the center letters to be honest ~.~

I really like your composition of the sets. Makes it way more attractive for ISO people like me. We always have to pay like 20$+ for 4 keys.

The only thing I don't like are the colored number keys (5-8) in the 60% set. They should have the same color like the rest of the alphas. The two tone style only works on the F-Keys in my opinion.

Those are for ones who want it only ^^ You always have the number 5 to 8 in White cap in your White base so you can mix them whatever you like.

It's also a test for this option, we don't know people will accept it or not if we don't give it a try ^^

But think about it this way: vast majority of sets have small left-justified legends.  You are welcome to any number of them, including the original Valentine set.  Even though it seems like there've been a bunch of large centered letter sets recently... I can count them on one hand vs. all the dozens upon dozens of sets you can get in the style that you prefer.

I do wish this set were not SA profile though, mostly because it would look silly on my TKL Filcos, a TKL Ducky, or a future Poker II project, but hey!

round 1 valentines set is just as hard to find as CCs (if not harder), and people who have them don't sell it.
all I want is round 1 design with additional caps (LOVE esc cap, house, heart, different base colors, etc).
the different rounds of ccng and ra didn't change the style by that much, only added in extras. (if it aint broke, dont fix it)
at least offer this second round with both designs if you love the large legend so much.
and like I said before, or you can put it up to a vote, I am definitely not the only person here who hates the large legend.

@phx: The fonts on those devices of photos you posted look ugly, that because of the way it got mix together... and everything else... Those are ugly I have to agree.

But the font in the mockups, I don't think it's THAT bad. I've already seen the actual kind of using just Alphabet letters in large center before (Dolce rep. Round 1 set) and the lagre letters go quite  well with other legends.

Forgive me, but you must have some unforgettable memories with those devices for old people that now you see every centered texts you could think about it, right? ~~

And I can be sure that I won't do the same thing twice, in doing GB. It makes no sense to me that make one thing, then just remake and remake and remake it over and over and over again. That's the old style I suppose. I'm still young and I want to do the new thing everytime.

no I dont have a bad experience with old people large legends. Both the retro set and dolce look really good in my eyes, the legend fit its style, I was actually thinking of picking up a retro set on techkeys but it was sadly sold out a long time ago. it's just something with this set's theme that doesnt work with the large legend.

please just put up both sets in the GB and let the masses decide what they want, honestly I would be willing to pay more than double the cost to avoid the large centered legend (yeah I really do hate it that much).

I'm just going to put my vote in and side with phx. It's just my opinion that the font looks ugly, and I think that others agree (some have said so earlier in the thread). Obviously, Jil, you have said that you won't be doing the same thing twice, but the old Valentines set is rare and there are many people that are looking for something more similar to that. I think that those that like the large letters are just a vocal minority at this point, but until more people voice their opinion we will not know.

I still think having all legends centered looks better. Right now you have the legends mixed, which I think looks "off". They light grey set is all centered, but I've highlighted the legends on the other sets that are not.





Also, I'd humbly ask that if you include a WinKey that you also include the Apple Command Key. Please.

Yes the intention of the ISO keys is just to cover the ISO layouts so that the set can put on the ISO boards, not that you can have the correct charracters.

I also would like to have a proper ISO kit with correct letters but there are two problems
- The first and the main problem, I don't know what exactly is needed for that kit. As I knew there are many kind of ISO layouts and many keys...
- If only few people order it, the price will be quite high
