Anyone get an invoice yet?
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

Bunny said he's gonna take care of them tomorrow, we can relax for a bit :)
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Of all the raffle sales I had only won one, and it was the Icestorm, for those who didn't win in the Winter is Coming sale.

I think they get hammered with entries from here and Reddit and the entry win chance is pretty low. I typically have more luck with the email sales, but I'm stateside and have a solid connection.

I totally lucked out with Dibs on this one, so if I don't win any in the next year I wont feel too bad. The only reason I lucked out with the Dib is because I was watching spy very close for VENT posts and ended up following this thread closely just because I was there. Plus its a great distraction from work and/or writing papers.

I picked five options, the Stump being the last, the BBv2 Pharo was 4th (I think). So they must have went quick or something. It would have been cool to get a surprise but I'm more than happy with my ticket.

right guys, im around, im gonna get all the invoicing done now so expect one over the next hour or 2

id also like to comment on certain people making snarky comments about not getting in to sales, it really is a case of "if you hate on success, success is gonna hate on you"

i cant give out specific numbers, but i can say this, even if you went 0 and 15 on these sales, you wouldnt even be close to being unlucky, we get a huge amount of orders, not just from gh, and it wouldnt be possible to fill even close to all the orders if we tried

there is no conspiracy, i dont even recognise 60% of the people who got in this sale, or any sale previously, a huge majority of the people who win dont even actively post pics or even post on gh at all, many people are just as in to this hobby, but dont publicly participate, i also see people who win on these draws, yet turn up in the thread saying "oh no, i didnt get in woe is me" all the time

yes some people have been more lucky than others, that will always be the case, they are also the people who when they dont get in, congratulate people and look forward to pics and such, these people dont hate on success, and clearly success isnt hating on them

I don't think people mean it when they complain, I don't ^_^. I consider myself extremely lucky as I won this sale 1/5 and I've also won Bro's winter giveaway. I think people do not realize that it takes time as there are members here who have not even won anything in a year.

It is pretty unfortunate some people complain, part of what makes any artisan keycap special is the way you got it. If you win one every time it wouldn't be as fun or as special. If you don't win there's always next time...

Anyway Congrats to the winners  :thumb:

Invoice paid - thanks for everything Bunny & Co!

To everyone that didn't win, I know it's not a good feeling but keep in mind there are potentially 60K users from Reddit alone watching these sales, plus everyone from Geekhack; obviously not everyone that subscribes is entering but there's bound to be a *lot* of competition to even get in on a sale. The thrill of finally winning is part of the fun, so keep chasing the dream and best of luck on your next try!  ;D

0/ however many Bro sales there have been since the transition to [CTRL]ALT. Not surprised I didn't get into this one either. Grats everyone else.

Not surprised? Shouldn't it always be a surprise? What do you know that we don't :>

I know that I don't ever get Bros from [CTRL]ALT and I have nothing else good to say so I'll stop typing now.

Oh, so you found a job after all this time? Congrats!

I can only assume this, because you're entering a drawing to purchase artisan caps, so you must have some income now...

I have a confession JD. I actually am still jobless but I found out a way to join the raffle =). I will join your Hackd keyset as well in a few days though because luckily, I save up in case of emergency and your Key set ending can be considered as one.
