Thanks for your answer Vesper. Yeah I figured out that the tripod is a must-have especially when you need to make long exposure. Do you know what would be a price for a decent tripod? Is the macro lens mandatory? I have a 18-55mm lens. it is pretty much the stock one with my Canon 450D.
Ummm, if my memory serves me correct, you can get a decent tripod for about $60ish. You really have to do your research on these because the pricing is all over the place~ Crappy tripods going for too much everywhere~ They are constructed out of metal, so the prices can get pretty ridiculous. I'm using a crappy one that came with my camera, but if I were to spend money on one, I would buy a decent one.
A macro lens can make a HUGE difference~ However, I think your first priority is a tripod and figuring out your camera settings. After you've got some experience and know what you're doing, then you can decide if you want to make or need the macro lens
I think I really need to get a good camera now
Please doooo~~~ I'd love to see those vintage stuff in all its glory~
