Its not a keyboard, but it is less than $200
this 'serger' is a type of sewing machine

Show Image

it has motors and gears and dials and springs and a metal chassis, an attractive molded case
an electric foot pedal, optional feet for specialty serging it runs two sewing needles and two thread
feeders from 4 spools of thread and can do 3 or 4 thread stiches.
includes a couple of DVDs and is pre-threaded

my last keyboard came with a spare ESC key and a keycap puller.

want to make me some pants? :D

keyboard sleeves came to mind

Nice!  :thumb:

I had a Babylock serger (and four assorted sewing machines...) when I lived in Portland.  Sold them all in a garage sale when I sold the house.  That was one handy unit.

One tip; when you get the tensions all adjusted for a nice flat seam, take a picture of the settings.  Might be easier with the Brother, but the one I had was always drifting a little bit over the course of a seam.  Lovely when it was evenly adjusted, but annoying as hell when one of the dials got off kilter.

Do you have any original Cherry dyesubs you can compare the quality to? I'd be interested to see the difference in print quality.

You will be very satisfied with the K712! It's one of the lightest and comfortable headphones I've ever worn! Virtually no clamp force, but doesn't move around either. Sounds fantastic too. :)

I do not have one,
but i think i will ask tinnie to lend me one for comparison if possible

original dyesubs in good status are not affordable for me :'(

All the reviews are positive and i can wait to try them on my ears !

It should be arriving tmr or the day after tomorrow
Maybe i can share my happiness in the off-topic subforum after i get it :D

Got a limited edition race kb today.  I acquired it in a trade transaction.  White case, white keycaps, white leds, white PCB...looks damn sexy imo.

My gasmasks seem to have been permanently lost in the mail  :(  I don't know how to go about getting the tracking, since they're now in the USPS, which apparently doesn't cooperate with the HKPS

They came!  Just as I had given up hope.  I don't actually remember what I ordered any more...

Yeah, it's an Olivetti G81 with blue on beige doubleshots. The left modifiers look like they have RGB dot stickers on them. The two ctrls will have 'CTRL' legends instead of 'Control' legends, and the print screen will be 'PRT SC' instead of 'Prt Sc'

Just got my Poker II shipping confirmation from Qtan, hopefully that doesn't take too long to get here  :)

I also have a  Vortex Bi-Color PBT Double Shot Keycap Set in blue on the way from mechanicalkeyboards.com ... I imagine those will get here much sooner than the Poker II, however.

Hopefully my next post in here is for an order for one of those new Ducky Mini keyboards + case. It looks pretty slick.
