Something Drunken and something Stainless.

Both are such levels of excite.  Many anticipate.  Such impatient.  Wow!

Belfong's guess exhibits a greater degree of accuracy :)

Is it not stainless?  Steel, anyway ...

If you have the desk space, they're fantastic. I like them so much that I bought this one as a backup and possibly to mod into a full ANSI layout(a la the Model M).

My first real mechanical (I don't count Razer) was a Ducky and now I am buying a Poker 2 this week. The exact opposite way so let me know how you like it coming from a 'new to mechs' perspective. I can confirm Ducky is an awesome keyboard as well.

I'm sure you'll love your Poker II. People rave about it here and since I picked up my first smaller form keyboard (LC660C), TKL is starting to look like a full sized! lol.

Actually, to come to think of it, Filco was my first real mech. However, I wasn't impressed, returned it and ended up really happy with a Ducky Shine 2 with reds.

My first novelty cap! A Hack Orange CC Topre.

Wasn't cheap, but the dude gave me a great deal since it was my first. Super excited to pop my cherry Topre!

I know the feeling. It is a great one. My first was supposed to be HO but due to shipping delay, Orangsicle came first <3

My first was a HO too!

A HO Toast btw :)

A nice deep orange colour.

Nice. Yeah, I'm really excited. It is one of my favorite colors the artisans make.

Actually, is yours a Skull, or Toast?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

This is going to be my first F2.. so I won't have any to compare. I read that the F2 are pretty unique itself but without any to compare, I won't know. And potato pix can't tell any story.

I'm so glad there are almost no novelty keycaps for BS - apart from those Unicomp sells - and BS board is my daily driver. My wallet spared from this misery... but I have Poker II, so I'm not completely immune :)
