just got back from work, and saw this in my bedroom...

unboxing:

trying to take some artistic shots:

with some of my rubiks cube collection, you know for comparison, or science, or whatever...

well first impression is, i cant believe how awesome this is. im new in this mechanical keyboards world and im totally blown by it. i love the feeling when you type with these cherry mx blues, and it doesn't strain my hands! absolutely worth for every penny. a lifetime investment especially when you code for 8-10 hours everyday.

thinking about changing my keycaps to blank black, or keycool dark grey, or maybe another board with brown switches..

Greens - nice one! :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'm waiting for my first mech! Filco Majestouch Ninja Black with cherry MX blues! oooh i can't wait!

A lot people start with blues... not everyone like it afterwards, but as you first switch and board - it ain't bad ;)

In a vacuum, I would probably like blues alot. I actually started on Acer switches, that I got for free. I mostly just prefer any other type of clicky switch so far.

Certainly, I'd use them over domes. If that's the first blank keys you've used, you may have some trouble.

Long training and strong dedication!
Eh and it probably helped that I was always a bit shy of international orders and the national offers didn't interest me that much.

Greens - nice one! :D
Thanks - I hope so  :D I've only ever used browns but I was looking for something with a lot more substance... and a satisfying click to go with it. The browns are a nice all-purpose switch but for long periods of writing they feel too light to me.

Nice! I recently switch from mx browns to mx greys and my coolermaster quickfire xt (same force as greens but not clicky) and I like it alot. I have also a bag of greens at home for my upcoming tkl keyboard.

Same thing here. I keep bottoming out on browns even when lightly typing. It's very annoying.

It was a pure impulse buy for me. I just really wanted to play all my old gba games and my SP broke a while back. Hopefully I won't regret the purchase.
