This time brings a new TKL design it is a completely different design. The key color may a little different

Some new features:
*7 slop/6063Alu/QMK Type-c /WK &WKL
*Inner middle and top case seprate design we will see structure below
*change usb port to right side not middle as previous

Improvements:
*E coating :As we know since sandblasted brass stuff easy leave stains and Finger print so we have do the e coating on brass
it will keep brass color and surface clean when you touch it
*E-black ： In E6.5 GB e black turn out not so good on some case so i have change another e black this time
*Poly case : when screw up case repeatedly the screw hole easy be slackly so we find a way to avoid this problem (TBD)

I think because E is still working out a better option for e-black. He's said a few times he was not happy with how the e-black parts for the E6.5 turned out & is looking for an alternative option for e-black.
Edit: Duh, it's a render... LOL! I thought it might have been a pic of a prototype with the old e-black on the plate & accent piece.

The more I see this board the more I am falling in love with it! Just saw the IC over on reddit & took another look, after that I believe I'm sold on this board. Been wanting a high end TKL for awhile even though I tend more towards 65% boards & this looks like the perfect one for me! Especially with you focusing in on the little details like making the screw holes more reliable in PC cases & trying to find a way to mitigate the problems some boards have with gasket mounting & screw-in stabilizers like kronograf also mentioned. I was blown away with the quality of my E6.5 & expect this to turn out even better given your focus on every little detail! Speaking of little details, depending on your design I don't know if screw in stabilizers will be an issue with gasket mounting on this board. I was able to use the gasket mount with GMK screw in stabilizers on my E6.5 & did not have any issues with it. So as long as the gasket get mounted the same as in the E6.5 there should be no issue with screw in stabilizers.
I thought I had an issue with screw-in stabs at first but it was actually a wire pop ^-^ the gasket seems to work fine with the protruding parts of the screw-in housings, just that visually it’s a bit unappealing (esp on a PC board) as it compresses more between the board edges and those particular pressure points. If he works out a way so the gasket has even pressure all around that’d be awesome.

The rubber gasket is actually not shown in the exploded view. The metal perimeter part that goes between the plate and the bottom piece is not a gasket. That part goes on the bottom piece and provides a structure for the gaskets to sit on. The part is optional, meaning if you want gasket mounting, you would have to purchase that piece separately or you can opt for top mounting. Also, that piece is available in brass, polycarbonate, or aluminum.

The E6.5 GB was supposed to be capped at 100, but E let almost double that get in after the first 100 spots went super quickly. So I'd imagine even if there is a cap on this it'll be well over 100.

Really hoping you're right, this is my first custom and I find it so hard to come across a GB that I like/am able to get a spot in (and aftermarket is too steep for me).

I understand this merch goes fast but that's what I thought the ICs were for. I'm such an overbloated noob that I must be missing something. No market could thrive if it were this hard to get into a GB or IC. Oh well....I'll come back in a few months and see whats going on then.The gb for e8.5 hasn't started yet.

Board group buys have tiny windows because we’re all trying to get manus to do production runs for things that take a lot of CNC time with low profit margins between their actual steady work.

doesn't require split, but i can use the small key as another layer, so i have access to three layers with just my left hand, allowing for extremely fast navigation and inputs in excel
the way i personally do it, i have it as tap for space hold for FN1, then the small key is hold/tap for FN2
so, i use my left hand to type in numbers, and my most used commands (=INDEX(MATCH, mostly) are on macros in one of the FN layers)

You need to get the soldered version of the PCB if you want split backspace. Hotswap layout only has 2u backspace.
What is the top accent and side weight? Is that the bit on the top right?

Brass plate should come PVD coated, oxidizing won’t be a concern.
regardless, oxidization shouldn't be an issue

The brass sound? Have you heard taeha types build the zephyr? I'm trying to go for that sound, regardless of the keycaps and switches, what material would produce that sound? Is that the brass sound?

1. Titanium and Brass will most likely feel like steel. Titanium will be lighter but both will flex very little. I've never typed on titanium plate, but brass and steel feel the same imo, especially when they are like >1mm thickness.
2. On PC, yes. Aluminum or brass, no. Gasket changes the way the plate interfaces with the board. Should allow for more plate to case flex which will translate to your typing being more flexible/bouncy. It can also translate to different sound since the vibration can be absorbed through the gasket instead of directly translated from the plate to the case.

2.About the tool marking on the bottom .i get feed back from E6.5 . It just a little case have it .you can see the marking clear
but you cant fee it .pc and alu were same CNC process but when sandblasted the alu case tool marking will be recover but pc

1. Generally speak PC material was flexible when start cnc the case would be a little warped and hard to control the qualityThose marking was show on someone`s 6.5 bottom case ,but on e8.5 bottom there was not appear. since we keep cnc works slowly.
especially tkl top case .However,when you screw up you wont see the warpe
2.About the tool marking on the bottom .i get feed back from E6.5 . It just a little case have it .you can see the marking clear
but you cant fee it .pc and alu were same CNC process but when sandblasted the alu case tool marking will be recover but pc
case cant .so we need do the pc bottom slow than alu to reduce marking appearance .but i cant promise make it perfect
3.For sure we want make the pc case quality better but for now we have limitations， so make sure when you purchase PC case
care about those phenomenon or not
Would it be possible to get a few example pictures of the kind of markings that will be visible? Even if its not the same keyboard, just so I can visualize the marking appearance.

That purple is so legit. If I do end up going for this board, I'm totally getting the purple with a yellow accent to go with Skeletor.
