Title: What would you call a Cherry MX Brown with Black springs?
Post by: nacitar on Wed, 24 September 2014, 13:33:11: Cherry MX clear with the lighter spring is an "ergo clear"... what's a cherry mx brown with the heavier spring? just "stiffer browns" or is there a more widely accepted name I'm unaware of?

But if I recall correctly, that feels a lot like a stock clear to me.

Post by: nacitar on Wed, 24 September 2014, 13:45:19: Without the significant tactile bump of the clear, though, it shouldn't feel much like the stock clear. At least to my fingers, the brown/clear stems feel massively different even with the same springs (I use ergo clears).

I was going to guess tactile black as well.

Browns already suck as it is, but with a Black spring, the bump would be practically unnoticeable and would just feel dirty.
