I don't want to think about how fast that can run.  And the description of the sound it makes while walking? That would be terrifying.to hear in the dark.

I heard stories of parents in Mexico removing the fangs out of the Tarantulas so the kids could safely play with them.  Not sure how they got around the flicking hairs.

spiders are basically land crabs.

I've eaten the medium size tarantulas..  it tastes almost exactly lke crab, except slightly gooier. (the texture might be due to cooking).. but the (sea-flavor..msg like) is identical to crab.

Nuh un...   studies suggest spiders and crabs had common ancestry, but that ancestor neither looked like the spider nor the crab.

Similarly..  Lobster and Roaches

This is the next big pet craze!  I could just see someone with one of these on a leash walking into the local coffee shop (and everyone running or trying to light it on fire).

I think most people would keep it on their shoulder.
Also, there may be a market for tiny little galoshes.
