are you currently intoxicated? the best time to solder/repair boards is when you're super-hammered.

Dump a pot of coffee into it and put it in jail for a night, tomorrow it'll be fine.

Depends on the proof of the liquor, if it has a higher alcohol content it should dry pretty quickly. Do any keys work? Download the EK Switch Hitter tool https://elitekeyboards.com/switchhitter.php (https://elitekeyboards.com/switchhitter.php) once it's dry and find out which keys might be having issues. Be sure to take a couple good-luck whiskey shots before you start. =)

Intelli has an excellent point, I left out the coffee dumping method.

If that is all that is wrong with it, you can remove the stabilized keycaps, and then use some lube (SuperLube or white lithium grease) to lube the stabilizers.

In other news, we need a drunk posting topic. That should be entertaining. :)

Disconnect your board, grab a q-tip and some isopropyl alcohol.  Clean the stabs, then wait for it to try.

Lube them with some silicone grease after.

If you look under the plate at where the stabilizer wire connect to the insert (the black "fake switch" part), you should just be able to see where the wire contacts the plastic. That's the bit you need to lube.

wow, okay, you guys are d!cks.  Like you never got totally hammered at the computer and spilled your OJ and vodka on the keyboard.

Here's how you fix that problem.  You've basically got a variation on the Pepsi Syndrome.  You clean up the sticky residue with a little soapy water.  On a paper towel.  And you wipe.  But be careful . . . Wait, did you say it was a Ducky?  lol.  That's easy to fix.  Put it in the rubbish bin and let the local Sanitation Department take it away forever.

I was going to suggest urinating on the keyboard and claim that the ammonia would dissolve the OJ. But since I don't want to be a d!ck, I won't say that.

Glad I could help out on this thread.

I would remove all the keycaps and open the board. You really do want to get out all those sticky deposits, they may be fine now but cause problems later.

If the only thing that is a problem are sticky stabilizers, then remove the stabilizer and wash it and the area around it replace.

Sorry, I don't remember whether Ducky uses costar or cherry stabilizers but in either case there are youtube videos showing how to remove and replace them.
So just search there.
