I haven't heard of Zealios, but they look interesting. What made the ergo clears a PITA for you?
ergo clear feels a little bit weird to me. I still prefer stock clear

That's funny, stock clears literally feel broken to me. I can't use them without lube.

Haven't used actual ergo clears, but Zealios don't feel as good as stock clears to me - they feel a little mushy. Stock Cherry Clears give you a crisp "pop" as you actuate that I love.
So, I know that Ergo clears are clear switches using springs of blues, browns, or reds.
About zealios, the only thing I did not enjoy was the fact that it wobles a lot more than cherry ergo-clears. But maybe thats the reason for it being smoother.

Have you seen oobly's mod for this? It's easily fixable with some cheap copper tape.

If you scroll through the Zealio groupbuy thread you should be able to find it. Basically he put a tiny bit of copper tape on either side of each stem, and it seems like it made them a lot sturdier. I'm going to try the mod myself in a couple days hopefully.
You should post a picture of it, I would try to do it with my ergo clears.

In there somewhere lol. Maybe if he comes back he will post the picture again, I don't really want to dig through the thread.

Smoothness seems unaffected and they seem to last (playing with a modified switch while watching movies, enjoying the sweet tactility of the Zealio), but I haven't tested long term yet since the board I'll be putting them on hasn't arrived yet.

Which weight of zealios do you have?
Zealios have an issue with the lubing from the factory that results in them being a little mushy to begin with. After about a week or two of use it clears up. Also the polycarbonate clear top changes the feel/sound of bottoming out that some people might not like.
