I'm mostly excited about the new alienware 13 inch laptop with oled screen.
That reminds me, the new think pad / yoga pads with OLED screens have intrigued me. The past few phones i have had, the Motorola moto X 1st and second gen have AMOLED screens and im fairly excited to see that going into laptops and full size TV's. The blacks and colors look great on them, though they tend to lean to the over saturated side, i kind of like that.

The new Razer Ultrabook looks hot but it's actually not when I saw at the specs. ^-^
But either way, I think my next laptop/notebook/ultrabook would probably be a Macbook Pro.

I'd probably try out Mac OS for once. :)
You can use Windows on a Mac, you know, no need to have a separate machine. They certainly are nice, but they are not cheap to buy new, that is for sure.

I worked in the field at a research institute and I attended a few research conferences about VR.
But I have also always been interested in Science Fiction, and the more I read, the more I found that too much immersion into virtual worlds is not necessarily a good thing. I decided then to keep my findings to myself and get out of the field.
A drone could be a useful tool if you are a photographer. I'm not.
Anyone noticed MSI just bring a gaming Mac Pro to CES?.. And of course all the boards inside it are entirely proprietary, just like a Mac Pro... What a shame.
The design is different, though: instead of a unified thermal core each component has its own vertical cooling flange.
I have been wanting to build a computer like that for years. But I want the components to be standardized, and I want to build them myself. I'd also prefer one single more powerful GPU to two GPU's from 2014 that could only be used together in SLI.

I honesty wonder if that's the direction we're headed. People sacrifice real relationships for virtual ones on their phones. Many would rather watch porn than be with someone IRL. I worry the VR sex/sexbot future is sadly inevitable. :-(

There are a lot of lonely people out there for which social interaction is difficult, for one reason or another. Why chase your fantasies when you can create them without leaving your own home?
I know what you mean, though. The prevalence of screens and the information we can access on them certainly has affected human relationships. While I was too young to understand the early years of the Internet, I've read that many people were very hopeful of the Internet's potential and focused on all the positives things it would bring. Now we can see how mass adoption of the Internet has brought out the best and worst of humanity.
