Many guys ask about extra keys.
Due to model issue, it's not possible to support all layout as we mentioned.
But we can use limited resource to make some of them.
So there's an additional question in the form about extra keys.
It might fit some keyboard but definitely not all.
We have no 4u, 6.5u, 7u space bar or bigass enter, iso enter...etc

This IC is about a PBT SA Profile Keycap, with Elvish alpha on it.

This keycap set has only ANSI 104 keys now
Alpha set, modify set and extra set GB will launch if get 30+ interesting
Profile : 223333 (Based on Filco's High profile)

This keycap contain several tech of printing.
1. White caps are using dye-sub printing.
2. Green(Both light and deep) are dip-dye with white PBT caps
3. White legends on green caps are made by cutting from surface with laser, and origin plastic color shows up.
These techs make sure this cap has a nice quality and lifetime.

Price : $65 for ANSI 104 set

Shipping :
Shipping to Canada/USA/AU is using airpack.
To rest of the world is using registered small pack or DGM.
Shipping fee :
Weight of this keycap set is around 400~500 with boxing
But only <250g if with zip bag.
Which means shipping fee will be pretty high if keep origin box.
($12~$13 to USA, Euro...etc; $8~$10 to Asia)

If ship with zip bag only.
Shipping fee will much lower, cost about $8 to USA/CA/Euro and $5~$6 to Asia.
So there's a question about you want to keep origin pack or not.

But this model have no non ANSI caps now because of fund issue.
The extra key will process in 2017.

So this time will have only standard ANSI 104 set :)

Hi,
It's also available.
But that will make this keycap become sort of blank keycaps.
And in my experience, most people still want printing on keycaps.
So we decide to run this GB with English legend as primary.
We might do another IC in the future with only Elvish on other color after this GB ends :)

What I personally want is just straight Elvish without Latin legends at all but I suppose that may be a little bit too niche for most people - I'd imagine most people who buy these to begin with are heavy enthusiasts which hardly need visual guidance finding out where each letter is, at the risk of sounding corny the English sort of breaks my immersion personally.

How close are these caps to the ones from Signature Plastics? Could you provide any comparison between these and the actual SA caps from Signature Plastics?

I would love it if for future group buys you would consider doing a set with US-international sublegends instead of Elven because for me US-International sublegends are actually useful. For reference, US-Int sublegends looks like this:

Yet people are not screaming when stuff is described to be cherry profile, when done by someone other than cherry.
You could argue that GMK has the right to call its caps cherry profile because of the heritage of molds, but no one can verify that their molds that they use today are all from an era before GMK bought them.

So unless these new Chinese molds are duplicates of SA, they need their own name. For instance, Matt3o isn't calling his high-profile spherical keycaps SA; he is giving them their own name.

Not sure now.
But I think ISO will include, it's a really basic layout.
It might publish around mid 2017.

Forget mention this issue.
This will longer than our other GB.
We might run it for 4 weeks maybe.
But we hope we can deliver all orders within 3 months after GB start.
Which means ship all order within 1 month after GB ends.
And start to process manufacture from the beginning to reduce the leading time.

Filco double shot keysets are manufactured by SP, they are exactly the same as SA (legends are in a different spot but profile is identical).

Many guys want extra keys.
But due to model issue, it's not possible to support all layout as we mentioned.
But we can use limited resource to make some of them.
So there's an additional question in the form about do you want extra or not.
It might fit some keyboard but definitely not all.
We have no 4u, 6.5u, 7u space bar or bigass enter, iso enter...etc

Alpha set, modify set and extra set GB will launch when > 30 interesting

is that final? of course we want extra~

But keep separate shift cause they might able to use in some custom layout keyboard I guess.

And we still provide 1.5u and 1u ctrl and alt even we don't have 6.5u and 7u space bar.
Cause sell space bar only is reasonable in my opinion.
There's too many specs for spacebar...

No,
They're not.
But I also order some samples for other caps from the factory they're work with(XDA).
The only thing I'm sure is XDA's plastic and printing factory.
I'm not sure if all their caps are from the same manufacturer.

I just take a look on the 1965 GB.
They're made by Signature Plastics.
So I think they have different manufacturers.

BTW, 1965 keycap set looks really good -0-
