I start noticing Cooler Master's gaming brand, CM Storm, seems to be just Cooler Master again.
CM Storm TK -> Cooler Master Masterkey Pro M
Corsair's gaming brand, Corsair Gaming *cough*tramp stamp*cough* was a little bit short lived, I remember one of the rep said they spent 6 figure money on its whole rebrand but then got a huge backlash and now they went back to just Corsair.

I kind of understand from Corsair's situation (if it ain't broken why mess with it), but why did Cooler Master abandon the CM Storm brand?
And seems like right now only Logitech Gaming lives on.

Well since I'm pretty new to the Cooler Master products and not knowing the CM Storm products I can say that the new brand looks way more mature. I think the CM Storm names targets people who are pretty much 20 years younger than me :D. And I saw some videos of the CM Storm keyboards and not really liked the font. The now Masterkeys series look more clean etc. but that's a pretty much personal taste. Though I cannot answer the why but I'm glad they did change.

Corsair might haz the tramp stamp, but coolermaster is still using those tramp-ee looking girls to promote their product.
hahaha

lol that's most company at tech shows though. If you look at CES coverage, I think a lot of companies do it.
But yes Cooler Master and Ducky probably tried a bit harder. :P

My understanding was that CM Storm was just a couple or three marketing guys. I tried to get them to add a nicer/LED fan to the Evo CPU cooler and sell that as a CM Storm product, but no go. I also understood that Cooler Master corporatre wasn't actually into the CM Storm thing.
Good to see the Corsair tramp stamp gone. They were my go-to case brand for a very long time. Now it is Fractal.

I think at the time all the companies feel like they need a "gaming brand", but good to hear they went back to their roots.

Oh wait I just forgot Das Keyboard went gaming brand too.
