on the unplated poker or the plated poker.
I am pretty sure the stabilizers are plate mounted, so you would need to desolder the switch of the stabilized key but then the stabilizer could just be pulled out.on the unplated poker or the plated poker.

desolder is the cleanest way.. to prevent mishap.. You have to desolder the WHOLE keyboard all the keys if it's plate mounted.

you don't have to desolder the entire board, just the stabilized keys, if the stabilizers were PCB mounted you'd have to but plate mount stabs you just have to desolder the single switches so the wire can come out.

Think they use plate mount on the plated version.
;D so to answer OP's question : You would need to desolder 5 switches.

I'm considering getting a poker (mx clear maybe) but my main concern is cherry stabilizers. How many switches will I have to desolder to remove/clip the stabilizers.
I don't consider keyboards precision instruments that need babying..
