I have my blue alps Orion v2 PCB and finally want to use it but I notice when I plug it in it doesn't register. Do I need additional components? I have to be a bother but it has been quite a long time since I've done modding on keyboards and honestly don't remember much
Can anyone here help me out? Also happy thanksgiving yall :p

Looks like you don't have the diodes for each switch soldered on.

yup that is the issue.

Which exact diodes do I need and where can I get them? Thank dudes

You would need a smd diode. Example https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/diodes-incorporated/1N4148W-7-F/1N4148W-FDICT-ND/815280 (https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/diodes-incorporated/1N4148W-7-F/1N4148W-FDICT-ND/815280). I don't know which one people use for keyboards but it shouldn't matter that much.

I am soldering this on the right way correct? Here is the datasheet for the diode: https://www.onsemi.com/pub/Collateral/LL4148-D.pdf
It's a little unclear since there are two lines on the diode I figure the one to mark polarity is the black one as shown on the schematic.

I don't need to do anything with these unless I want to use the LED spots correct? I assume those are spots for resistors?

The black lines on the diodes go on the thick ends of the PCB markings so you're good.
Rx pads are for LED resistors so you don't need them unless you want them. There are some empty diode pads in the pic too which will need filling...

I haven't actually done all of it yet, didn't want to do it all wrong and have to desolder the whole board ;D
I guess I'll ignore the LED's for now... Don't really need them I appreciate the help mate
