This is an Interest Check for our new Sonic switches lineup to pair with your GMK Wavez keyset! The color of the stems and housings will be customized to fit with the main theme of Wavez. We are planning on doing only ONE round of these awesome Sonic switches, so get yours while you still can. We are considering two variants of Sonic switches offered in this buy – either tactile (KBD’s T1 switches) or linear (gateron yellows). Depending on the outcome of the voting polls, we will decide whether we would like to move forward with either one, or both.

This would be a great opportunity for tactile enthusiasts as the opaque housing could have better acoustics than the regular translucent housing.Better durability and less friction too, right?

You are right, the opaque housing is a different material. This was accomplished with the Gateron run for Linjar. Researching now, but seems like that's the desire of the folks who are interested, so we'll be marching in that direction.

You are right, the opaque housing is a different material. This was accomplished with the Gateron run for Linjar. Researching now, but seems like that's the desire of the folks who are interested, so we'll be marching in that direction.
Gateron offers only nylon 66; at least that's what I was offered. They're good and smooth, though.
In for tactile for sure! Green colored things need more representation in the hobby imo. GL!

Any particular reason nylon housings for the T1's cant happen? Just curious.
FYI - I spoke with Wei and the housings can, in fact, be nylon. The original comments about only being available in translucent housings was a mis-understanding.
Probably dead since T1 manufacturing is ceased.
As I understand it, the T1 switches were cancelled because the factory producing them was the same factory that produced the fake Tealios and KBDFans broke ties with them. On the other hand, it seems as though Zeal has stopped the sale of epbt clear stabilizers as well, so maybe he got the T1 switches killed due to their similarity with Zealios? Who really knows. I don't really see why either the T1 or Koalas would have to be cancelled, since they're not fake versions of any switch. Also, if the T1s are cancelled because of cutting ties with the factory, why doesn't this affect the Koalas? I believe people have gotten refunds for T1 switches, but the Koala GB goes on? Confusing drama.The T1s that were ordered before all this went down are actually going to be fulfilled, I just don't believe they will be making any more with this factory.
Is this switch release still a thing? Just got into the keyboard market and potentially picked up a set of GMK Wavez.
