Looking for PCB or keyboard with certain specs for a new project
« on: Tue, 02 February 2021, 16:38:52 »
So I haven't built a new keyboard in a good bit, and I'm looking for something a little new and different and looking to build something interesting. So far, I've had trouble finding a PCB (or prebuilt) that fits all the criteria that isn't too expensive. I want something that is:

- TKL or similar, just something with arrows and function keys but that isn't huge. It's okay if the layout isn't specifically and 80%, but I'm looking for something a little more practical than the 60s i have and smaller than full size.
- Hotswappable switches, or can be made hotswappable somehow
- USB C
- Has aluminum cases available
- Very preferably has wireless capability
- Preferably has RGB support
- Isn't too hard to program

Anything like that on the market now? I haven't been paying attention for a while but I'm interested in getting back into things. Also, what tactile switches are best right now that aren't Topre? (Already have an HHKB)

First thing that comes to mind as an option would be IDOBAO ID80 75%.
Wireless is still a hard-to-find option in any price range and with ALL of the requirements above.
