The Q60 comes with a complete aluminum CNC machined body, gasket mount + pre installed forcebreak mod, and QMK/VIA support, all designed for a minimal desk setup and premium typing comfort.

*You don't have to use this switch, you can also switch through the layers purely by using VIA, it's just something on top where u can switch between 2 set layers.

It was a community decision to go 7V to make the bottom row centered insteat of left shifted like the original layout.
With 6V the mods would be in a weird position for typing.

I really like that keychron is trying to do more niche things, and it's affordable too 🙂.
I personally prefer this over the Q4, more esthetically pleasing.

Where was that "community" decision made? I don't recall seeing an IC on geekhack so I'd assume it was made on Facebook. The HHKB layout is one I would consider more enthusiast oriented (I think this is backed up by the fact no big manu outside of PFU has made one yet). Seems more appropriate to ask for feedback on such a layout on an ethusiast forum then.

Anyway, personally I don't mind the 7U bottom row as most other MX HHKB boards have it.

I wonder if Keychron would consider dropping the plate at least a few mm so that the keycaps are recessed slightly within the top case? I think this would result in a better looking product. This is something I would have suggested if an IC was posted.
