This set is inspired by the keyboard of Canon Cat, the word processor invented by HCI pioneer Jef Raskin. Launched in 1987, this vintage device fully embodies the philosophy of The Humane Environment. It abandons mice, menus and redundant keys, delivering modeless efficient editing via streamlined layout shortcuts. We extract native layout command abbreviations including scaling, alignment, indent and cut from the original hardware, restoring human-centered typing logic and retro office interaction aesthetics.
