Not enough said for me, I have no idea what he means by that.

Didn't you pay 350 USD for a NIB SSK?

It is money down the drain...  I bought a NIB Model M for $62 + shipping and that was higher than normal IMO.

I did.  I paid too much.  Last week a NIB SSK went for $320.  $200+ for a NIB model M (non SSK) is about $140 more than the going price.

Lowest sold price in the last 2 week for a NIB Modeal was $63, $47.95 if you count that old looking "NIB" one.

Let me see if I got it. So an 1391401 is too expensive at 200 USD because you paid 62 for an 82G2383, while a SSK would have been worth 350 USD, if one wouldn't have sold last week with 320, right?

I didn't say the SSK would have been worth $350.  I said "I paid too much" for paying $350 for one.

Are you the winner of this auction?

Edit: Nope, I just realized that you are actually the seller.  Congrats for getting a good deal selling it!

you should explain to TexasFlood you mean by:

It is in Romania. Maybe that's why it went so high. So many US sellers having international off (and you can't even ask about it now because of new ebay settings/rules) and such.

Since you are the seller, you were hoping it was going to get sniped, weren't you?  You sneaky, didn't tell us that you were the seller :)

Ouch.  What happened?  You can offer the 2nd highest bidder a second chance, right?

Here's a 1390131 from Sep '86 that is at $11 with 5h left and no reserve.  Not new in box, but looks nice for a board that old, would be great for someone getting into Model Ms...

He suggested there's something fishy. I suggested to back off then. Which he did. I sent an offer to the 2nd highest bidder.

I like the Romanian $5 RON.

I was trying to figure out also why this NIB M was going for such a high price.  I figured it was probably because the seller was based in Europe, and all Model M's in Europe seem to sell for much more than they would in the U.S.  Not just because the seller allows shipping to Europe, which does help, but more likely because Europeans seem to like to deal with other Europeans, not just to save on shipping, but I'm guessing possible import taxes weigh in heavily also.  Even all that considered, still seems quite a high price.  Congratulations to prd for getting such a good price, and hopefully the second highest bidder will take it.

Thanks. The winner just paid today. Go figure!

Stuff bought from outside EU costs +35% (VAT + tax, both on both shipment and price) at the customs office, in Romania.
