opening filco case?
« on: Sat, 20 August 2011, 20:18:29 »
I know I've seen mention of it before, and I'm usually good with such things on my own, but the case on my Filco (104) is fighting me, and my search-fu is failing.  What's the trick to release the tabs on the front of the case, or can someone point me to a pic of it apart?  Just don't want to damage something expensive... (although the odds of that happening anyway are pretty good, with what I have planned )
Filco Majestouch-2 with Cherry Corp. doubleshot keys - Leopold Tenkeyless Tactile Force with Wyse doubleshots - Silicon Graphics 9500900 - WASD V1 - IBM Model M 52G9658 - Noppoo Choc Pro with Cherry lasered PBT keycaps - Wyse 900866-01 - Cherry G80-8200LPBUS/07 - Dell AT101W - several Cherry G81s (future doubleshot donors) (order of current preference) (dang I have too many keyboards, I really only need two)

Did you take off the middle screw on the bottom first?

(Underneath the "do not remove" sticker). Note: this WILL void your warranty.

Oh yes, I figured that that was something that had to be removed to get in there.  and thanks Ripster, that helps.  I'm in :)
