Where to get blank keycaps with text on the lower side (bottom).
« on: Sat, 29 October 2011, 20:38:23 »
Hi ive been searching all over to find any keys that look like the ones on this video.. have to link the video since i cant find the keys anywhere..  its the first keyboard he/she is showing.. they are blank on top but with text on the lower side of each key.. im soon going to buy the daskeyboard ultimate with all blank keys.. but i would really like to have these blank ones with those small writings on the bottom side..  so that if i have to find those really uncommon shift+key binds i always have the option to look as a last case..

You didn't post the video, but I'm willing to bet they were Filco Ninja keys. Qtan sells some white PBT variants in his store. He may also have black ones, but I can't remember.

Wyse buy colors were GSY for the dark grey, GBA for the light grey, and BBI for the fonts.

Well you haven't actually linked anything. As to what you've been talking about you probably should look for something from
http://www.vendio.com/stores/E-sports-Gaming-equipments/category/pbt-key-caps/catId=3982960

And what you're looking for are side printed keycaps

Looks like a video posted by a geekhacker, probably Noodles. Those are indeed ninja caps on a Leopold. You can get white ones from Qtan, and he also sells gold printed ninja caps, which are very similar to those in the video. Ninja caps pop up here on the classifieds from time to time too, and you may be able to find some on eBay now that you know what you're looking for.

I think daskeyboard uses PBT key caps for their default set. So the ninja PBT keycaps from Qtan's website is a perfect set for it if you want keys of the same feel.
