CamelCase?
« on: Mon, 05 March 2012, 08:46:56 »
Hi,

I'm new so don't flame me too hard for this, but what is 'Camel-Case'? It is a 'feature' listed for the doubleshot replacement gb.

I know if I am coding e.g. in C++, and I name a class FooBarBaz, or a method fooBarBaz(), that is called 'camelCase' because there are 'humps' in the middle of the lexeme to signal to the reader that is to be read as two or more words.

Is it e.g. the funkiness of the shift key with multiple height levels?
Code: [Select]

I think that 7bit meant that the legends are written with an initial capital for each word. For example: "Back Space" instead of "Backspace".

BTW, you have worked with haptics?

ty sire. I think some of the indicated "camel case" boards had all caps, maybe not, I'll double check.

No, but I am saving cell phones for a project. I think I have ~10 cell vibrator motors (please rip no comments about vibrating camel cases :). I was thinking about a haptic feedback belt. We'll see.

Do all "spherical" keyboards have these multiple height levels?
Code: [Select]

All the ones in R4 SPH do have the "sculpted" profile ('cept the funciton keys, which I believe are row3?), but you can get them all flat profile, like what Deck has (though Deck's keycaps aren't spherical).
