Howdy
« on: Wed, 22 August 2012, 08:01:27 »
Hi there.

I have decided to move on my Unicomp keyboard. I'd like to put up a post in the classifieds forum, but the "new topic" button is notably absent.

I guess I need to post more before I can see that button?

Thanks

Welcome to Geekhack!

You need 50 posts to be able to make a new thread in the classifieds section.

That's great, thanks for letting me know.

I actually signed up a year ago while looking for my IBM Model M fix!

The Unicomp Customizer I bought is a fantastic keyboard and if I don't sell it I'll probably keep it - but it is very large and takes up a lot of desk space...

I have ordered a Coolermaster Storm Rapid (Or something along that line) - it's a tenkeyless based on Cherry Blacks. Would have liked blue switches but long term that isn't a good idea either... I'm shortly going to start working night shifts so would like to have a "quieter" daily driver for my computer based antics while at home :)

Got people at home you would drive crazy with clicking with your odd work hours? Quickfire Rapid with blacks will definitely be much quieter than the Unicomp buckling springs.

Welcome to geekhack,  black mx might not be a good idea if you are going to be typing a lot.  MX clears or browns are good for typing quietly.
Gotta collect them all
