Hello all,

   I just joined geekhack and am trying to put up a Realforce 87U 55g White keyboard. Unfortunately, I can't post a classified for it. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I probably shouldn't say GLWS! But that is a fine board for a fine price. I say get to posting, not excessively and relist it at 60 posts. And for feedback, heatware is supported on this site to help add some cred.

Just creep all day like me, post when you want, don't over do it, and 60 posts comes fast. Pretty sure I must have put down about 50 posts today...

GLWS eventually in the classifieds.  That's a nice looking keyboard and the last style I need to try.  How heavy are the switches comparted to a model M for example, or a MX green?

I think initially i didn't notice it, but after a bit, i noticed the keys offered decent resistance. I would say smoother and a little heavier than mx blues. But that's just my opinion.

Oh, forgot to mention, I really want to try MX greens. How are they compared to MX Blues? I also want to try Green ALPS.

I have an unbranded QFR with greens. I used this board for work for maybe 2 months now and I am still up in the air about it. It is just so damn loud – however not as loud as blues. I find myself missing keystrokes because I did not push down hard enough – I blame using reds for a few months.

wow! is that in addition to the two in your signature? you are the one that keeps me questioning whether I should try a 55g in addition to my hhkbs and 55g.

Yup! Probably going to pick up a 2nd (white) hhkb at some point so I can swap the caps.

I have a white and black hhkb and did exactly that, but now am switching the caps again on the white one (keeping the black one with the white caps though)
