Why not get high instead?

On a different note: they say you can't buy happiness, but you can buy bacon, and that's pretty close.

Better be honest and hurt her feelings now than her finding out the truth later, just saying. She is in HS, she is still young, she will move on.

Went to a prom with a girl I was casually acquainted with, had an okay time, and enjoyed the night for what it was.  We went on a few dates afterwards, nothing too serious, and then just stopped seeing each other.

I really didn't even think much about it, but when it came yearbook sales time, I discovered that my prom date had taken it upon herself to edit or remove every picture that had me in it, removed me completely from the school yearbook.

My advice?  Go to the prom.  You'll completely forget about most of the things you accumulate in life, but experiences stick with you forever.

Who knows, maybe she's a budding graphic artist who can paint some killer custom keycaps for you.

Dammit. That's what happens when you get up at 3:40 in the morning.
