Good PCB mounted boards?

Hi guys again with this whole internet thing for me I'm wanting a PCB mounted board now. I heard you can change the stems and springs with out having to desolder and resolder, which is a huge plus for me. I don't really care for backlighting since I will be buying blank keycaps.
I kind of want NKRO if a such a keyboard exists with it over USB since my motherboard doesn't have a ps2 port :( this will be after I buy a shine 3 though.

What size? the race, pure and poker x are all good pcb mounted boards, though they "only" have 6kro over usb I think. They are also smaller than tkl

Of course your best option is to get an ergoDOX as it supports full NKRO over USB, is fully programmable, the keyswitch-tops are removable without desoldering, AND it's ergonomic.

I was looking for full size or TKl with the home/pageup cluster and my arrow keys which I use a lot lol.

It's a short list...
Full size: Cherry G80 line
TKL: Neo Zelia
mini: Poker X, Pure, Race

None of them have more than 6KRO over USB. I don't see how it's a big deal NKRO unless you have 4 hands or something?

You're correct, yes you have to desolder the LEDs in order to open the switches.

NKRO is just a marketing ploy in my opinion. Go 60% because it is just plain amazing. Poker X if you can get one.

Hmm it's kinda expensive... Anything with NKRO over USB and PCB mounted in TKL. I played on a board with 6 key and constantly while flying a aircraft I ran out of keys... I don't have a PS2 port either  :-[

i've only ever been told the zelia is a piece of crap... but it looks really good.

It does look good but a lot people say it's not very good... Still looking for a TKL that is good and is PCB mounted.

if you rule out the neo zelia, then i'm afraid your only solution is a custom phantom board (which is technically plate mounted, but has special cutouts in the plate allowing for switch modding.

those have to be assembled though and are quite pricy as well (or so i understood it).

All of the complaints I saw about the Neo, were on the first revision which apparently had **** wireless. Supposedly that was fixed on the newer revision. I don't see many other complaints about them other than should have been known before buying like the exposed PCB. MX is MX, the keycaps are the same as others from the same OEM, Plum and Noppoo. I never saw any negative remarks about wired function or it's fit and finish.
I don't own one, but I wouldn't be worried to buy one.

Phantom PCB plus you will need a plate, because it dosen't have mounts for stabilziers in the PCB, and a case of some sort that is Filco compatible, switches, keycaps, etc...
