Poker 2 - win led
« on: Thu, 21 November 2013, 15:58:26 »
Not sure if my newly aquired master solder skills (read first time ever) have screwed my pcb.

I tried using fn + shift to turn it on( I think that is correct... checked the manual) and this did not work.

The solder joints look ok, but when I was removing the exisiting led to change the color. I may have dmgd the pxb.

Is there a way I can check or/and is there a way to turn on the led I missed for poker 2.

Nope, I will try resoldering it at some point.

The key is functioning just the led. I did test each led before I put them in, so I think I have dmg the pcb.

Can you post pictures of the PCB? If it is damaged the damage should be visible. Also, could it be that you put it in the wrong way?

I can say for sure I put it in the correct way, as I did them all at once along each row checkimg before I soldered. I will double check this when I get the time.

The pcb looks slightly damaged, was hoping it was not fatal.  But lt just may have been for that led.

I may not take it out until I get my new case from nubbinator,  so 2-4 weeks.
