LZ Mx mini under OS X
« on: Fri, 22 November 2013, 06:09:11 »
Hi guys,
I tried to use my LZ Mx mini on my macbook and it's acting weird.
Num lock is impossible to turn off and if I type at my usual pace (around 40 wpm) it will spam way more character than intended (most of them will be tripled or doubled)
Is this a known issue and is there any workaround?

Is it possible you are double tapping the key? If not it may be a problem with the switch or pcb

I don't have either LZ Mx mini and/or Mac but I found this program which might help with your issue: http://www.denvog.com/app/numlock/

If you have spare machines and/or spare keyboards I would try and see whether:
  • Mac would turn the numlock on by default when the keyboard is plugged in.
  • The numlock can later be turned on/off on the fly when one presses numlock and/or via Fn function. Usually compact keyboards have numlock features enabled via Fn keys for instance.

On a Mac there is no num lock function it would be F14. In the system preferences-keyboard- use the keyboard viewer to see what the keys register, it might give you an idea of whats going on.
