KMACS
« on: Fri, 29 November 2013, 02:13:53 »
Eventually, Id like to get one. Problem is, Ive only ever seen them in TKL format, and I love full boards. Are there any full keyboard KMACs? Or a comparable metal korean custom that is full format?

The old KMACs can connect with a Kpad using a metal bar. :thumb:

Have you tried TKL?  I was worried I wouldn't like not having the numpad but I got used to putting numbers using the top row pretty quick.  I really like having my mouse closer to the keyboard when I am gaming.  I feel like there is less strain on my shoulder.  I actually just got my first 60% board and I am thinking of getting rid of some of my TKL boards.  I do think that fullsize boards should get more love though.  I wonder how much a full size aluminum cases would weigh.  It wouldn't slide around at all on the desk and would make for a good home defense weapon in place of a bat.

IBM Model M SSK, Filco MJ2 Ninja TKL with Reds ergo-clears, CM Storm QFR 55g Whites, Poker II with Reds

Lawl, it would. Though I prolly wouldnt grab that right off rip since my Colt is always right on my desk.

I have a few TKL boards (QFR w Greens,  poker w blacks) But Anytime I need to enter numbers whether Im buying something, gaming or whatever, Ive never been fluid with the number row. The numpad however, I have touchtyow ability with and it only requires moving my right hand while myeft stays on homerow. Plus i just like the looks of an OG full board.

Ill have to look into that new nerd 108. I like the idea of the older kmac and pad hooking together but i dont like the idea of shelling out for both :D
