« on: Wed, 04 December 2013, 19:17:33 »
So i registered here 2 mins ago, i thaught i chould need some expert help, and the after i get that expert help i know enough to give expert help to others.

But first lemme tell something about me, i play Tetris, Brood War and Starcraft2. My favoritue game was Bloodline Champions.

Here is a picture of my keyboard. Now ill try to find a place to get help at making my keyboard a mechanical keyboard without really making it look any different.

I dont have to do a smiley cuz my keyboard does it for me.

lol.  I'm not sure what you want, but that's an awesome keyboard.

It's rubber dome, I'm sure.

So you want a mechanical keyboard, that looks somewhat like your current rubber dome keyboard?

I guess you can start with this Yellow Filco, and add some purple OEM profile keycaps.  http://www.amazon.com/Filco-Majestouch-2-Action-Keyboard-FKBN104MC/dp/B0060J3VO2/ref=pd_sxp_f_pt

I believe they wish to mod it to use mechanical switches.

heehoo, really?  That would be some tiresome and expensive project.  It would easily cost twice as much as a new Filco, but w/e.  My advice is to buy the Filco and add some purple OEM profile keycaps.  And try to get a purple wrist rest.  Better keyboard, and cheaper than the mod plan.

Well the one you linked dosent look that similar to my keyboard. And yes i want to try to mod it.

Also i went here just because some guy at a swedish computer forum told me that there was a group buy of custom circut boards here. Just havent found the thread yet  :(

The placement of my keys are just a bit off normal keyboards. So thats why things are gonna be more difficult.

tl:dr i want to make my keyboard mechanical, without changing the looks of it. I can spend up to 400 dollars on modding my keyboard, money aint an issue. Time aint either.
