I have one of these. It features linear futabas and is quite well made.

I would say that it is one of the best keyboards I have in terms of build quality.

Some caveats:
1. The switches are quite heavy: probably a little more than MX blacks.
2. if it's well used like mine then it'll be very scratch and horrible to type on.

To alleviate #2 you can take it apart, lube the switches and then direct wire. You'll be left with a great-feeling linear board that's built well and has a decent layout.

I would recommend this to someone looking for a project and a deal, which is why I posted about it here.

Not in it's stock form.  I built one using the stock case/switches and a hardwired layout to a Teensy that was pretty interesting.

Not as far as I know.

If you then figure out the protocol and add it to something like soarers. That would totally work then.
