quick mousepad recommendation

My qck is almost 3 years old, and pretty dirty. I want something just a tad smoother. Any suggestions?

Logitech new G series has gotta some good reviews...

Artisan Hayate if cloth is what you're after, extremely smooth and great precision.
Razer Manticor feels super smooth too, but it's aluminium and on the pricier side

not sure if size is a big deal but there's also something like the modmymachine slamepad, another aluminium pad that is extremely smooth and seems very high quality (I've had mine for a while now, no wear whatsoever)
and the Artisan Raiden, which I absolutely love - my favourite cloth pad. very smooth but has issues with some optical mice (Kana v2 wouldn't work at all, for example. but other a3090 mice work, like my zowie mice)

and the all-popular Icemat, not available anymore new unfortunately it seems, is my favourite super smooth pad.

but I would assume you want a soft pad, and my suggestions are the Artisan then. they're worthy the praise they receive. do note that you SHOULD use a microfiber or something maybe once every month just to make sure it doesn't get too dusty it is very finely woven and dust might stick a bit. not a big issue but just... general maintenance for pads.
the hard pads require almost daily cleaning though, so uhh... no idea if you'd care for them.

I'm always happy to recommend the Goliathus. It's a cheap $20 for a decent quality item. One of those things in gaming that isn't ridiculously overpriced (although...the cost of goods on these is probably significantly less than $20!)

My Goliathus Speed has 3 years of use and the cloth is good as new (didn't seem to lose any coating properties). Also, it's the old version without stitching on the borders, but it never peeled where the wrist scrapes.

Your budget and what is available in your area?

Here Razer is overpriced, I could get 2 and half QCKs for one Razer Goliathus pad.
QCK is QCK, it will not stay as new for long years. But probably nothing will, dirt and dust and dead skin and all the crap gets pressed into the cloth mats.

I got Roccat Taito but if Goliathus was cheaper would probably get it.

Other than that it's difficult to get other mouse pads here, not common in shops, hard to find info about as well.

I would be wary of any modified edges and stitching and such, it can seriously irritate your hand if you will be gliding over it. I know I glide over the edge so it would be an issue for me if it was raised or not very smooth as the pad.
