Question about standard Cherry clears
« on: Mon, 21 July 2014, 15:42:57 »
Despite VERY limited experience with Cherry browns, I know that they can feel almost linear if you aren't specifically looking for the tactile bump.

Are clears the same way, or is the tactile bump impossible (or at least harder) to miss? I love the idea of a tactile Cherry, but the high-pitched click gets on my nerves when it comes to blues, so I'm wondering if clears might be an acceptable alternative.

Thanks!

clears are much more noticeable with the bump than browns, you can't miss the bump.

That's why most people like clears and dislike browns, the bump is definitely more noticeable on clears

The bump is so much bigger that without lube and using the same 45g (or 50g) springs as browns, clears will stick on the upstroke.
