IBM M15 with numpad, $500 opening bid + Shipping
« on: Mon, 17 November 2014, 22:20:57 »
More expensive than the last one I posted, but not super common.  Seller is a bit of a wanker if you ask me for not including shipping in the price given the opening bid, but what are you going to do?

Typing on mine right now. Seller is fine (very friendly via ebay PM), and the M15 looks like it was just taken out of the box.

The fact it has the numberpad, which is rare, on this already rare board....

There's a reserve on this one :\

TBF The numpad still has the plastic on it though :))

HAH

When Geekhackers list their Industrials and NIB SSKs for $800 or something, they usually don't make shipping free either. I sometimes think it is the buyers who are wankers to buy stuff for so much money.
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

I don’t understand why this is bad. Can you explain why someone who lives somewhere with more expensive shipping should get a discounted price?

Free shipping is stupid IMO. It doesn’t change anything about the actual cost of the shipping, it just hides that information from the consumer.

Ebay’s user interface could definitely do a better job consistently showing shipping costs or total cost including shipping on every page though.
