- With the modification, the keyboard is very quiet; quieter than anything I've typed on - perfect for office use. However the spacebar does make a "thack" sound that I'm not fond of - listen to jjk_3's sound clip in the listing above.
- The modification reduces the key travel quite a bit, such that you lose most of the tactile feedback of the Topre switches and it feels almost linear.
- The spacebar feels particularly mushy compared to the rest of the keys.
- The left control keycap sticks out more than the other keys and is pretty wobbly. This is apparently normal with the Realforce 87U.
Hopefully it's clear that this feels unlike a regular Topre keyboard.
It will come with swappable ctrl/capslock.
