Inexpensive Italian keyboard with letters that don't fade, in Europe?

While registering my arrive at the bed and breakfast where I am sleeping tonight, I noticed that the owner had applied letter stickers to his keyboard.  "The letters had worn off", he explained. I promised that I would have looked for a keyboard with resilient letters, and now I am turning to the expertise of this board to suggest an inexpensive replacement.

If I am not mistaken, Cherry offers models with "double shot" key caps.  Would such models fit the bill?

I'm pretty sure Cherry stopped putting double shot keycaps on their keyboards back in 2009.  So you're only 5 years late.   But, better late than never, I guess.  Tell your friend the B&B owner that he has to keep using them stickers.  #cherryprofitsoverpeople

H stands for "double shot".

You can get used cherry POS keyboards with double shot keycaps (g80-8200 and 8113) for pretty cheap on eBay. Also, G80-1800 can be had cheap

I don't know how the situation changes in europe. Many keyboards are available on the German eBay or on leboncoin in France for pretty cheap.

Another option is to get a cheap cherry keyboard and put better keycaps on it. You can get them shipped internationally from China.

As cheap as possible.  We are not talking about a keyboard enthusiast here.

This morning, I saw a light-coloured Fujitsu Siemens keyboard for usage by the clerks of a shop and whose key caps seemed double-shot.  I would say it was a rubber dome.  I didn't ask the shop clerks to let me check the model because I thought that it would be easy to determine it by searching the Internet, but I have failed to find it.

Unfortunately those G80s would be German.  I wouldn't mind a German G80 for myself, but for the owner of the bed and breakfast, it must be an Italian one.

Ah, didn't think about that. Though if you cant find anything else, the two layouts are, it looks, identical in spacing, just different characters on a few of the keys.

Perhaps you can find Cherry made Olivetti KBD 2812 boards on Italian ebay? They do come up occasionally, and since the sellers generally absolutely refuse to ship them outside Italy prices generally are decent since they haven't been influenced by international collectors market. There also exists Cherry standard 1800H**IT and 3000H**IT models but they are not easy to come across.

These should have alps mount, double shot keycaps. Check DT for kb-m102. Got the same model with german/cyrillic key caps - double shots.

I learn a lot on KB just reading your posts. I just wonder how many years have you spent getting all that knowledge, or what are your sources for information. I am very impressed with the details you come up with each time someone asks very specific questions, like this one. Kudos to you pal.
