Seems like you're right. Diodes and resistors have already been soldered on, I guess since it's one of the features of this limited edition board. So the only step left would be to solder on switch LEDs if so desired, and assemble it into the case, right?

Does this mean side LED's have to be done by us too? i would personally like this done as well since those are SMT as well....

I just talked with GON and he confirmed that you will need to purchase SMD leds separately if you want them (and solder them on yourself of course).

And if you ask nicely, GON can also do the side LEDs soldering - for a small fee.

It will be a really nice experience

I remember when I have built my first GON, it was also a limited edition and I didn't want to mess something up, but the PCB quality is so good you can't do it wrong

Maybe a moderator can move this thread in the GB area, some information shared here could be lost by just creating a new one and it would be a shame.

It should work if you get the USB cinnector mounted on the top. Don't take my word for it though!

Hey guys, this is cross posted from the Q&A but i'd really like to get one of these and support GON for doing this run for us so maybe you guys can help me?

i just went to purchase the limited run PCB from the site and i got this message on the payment page?
"No payment modules have been installed"
What do i do? how do i pay?

i'm not sure if this is the problem but I set the pricing to won currency because i'll have to exchange currency's either way and my exchange was better to won but for some reason now i can't find the drop down menu to switch if back to USD?

Nevermind, turns out i have to use Chrome instead of FF for some reason. although now i'm having the issue of not being able to change the currency from USD to WON because it saves me almost a full $10, can someone who can see the currency thing take a screenshot for me? i can't for the life of me find the button again, i could have sworn it was in the top right.

Because I believe GON get them done by batch of 30 , so you get one color/batch .

For me the assembly is the best part

Now I have a NerD60 with an alu plate and a Vortex low case waiting. I'm taking my time, I want to do it right. Vintage blaks, a Nixie black for the Esc , 55g springs.
And I just finished a 60% from the SPRiT GB. Building them is a lot of fun

But I must be honest, at some point I will get a board built by GON

GONs been pretty busy so hmm. I'm not sure if they celebrate Lunar New Year in Korea tho but tonight's the reunion dinner so he might be busy.

Well thanks for setting this up even though you couldn't get one for yourself!!!

I'm really happy with how it looks, i was kinda worried cause i went with this to go with a neutral color cause i figured it'd be cheaper and maybe easier to change LED's than getting different color plates.

My english is not good enough to describe how pleased I am so I had to -at least- try to take some pics. By the way I like yours better.

Asking GON to solder the side LEDs was a smart move regarding my soldering skills and experience hahaha

On one side, you will be able to pick any color you like. My choice (white color) is probably not the funkiest.
