It should have a mix of "vintage", old, and new Blacks.  The caps also look like the thick caps to me, but I could be wrong.

Nice, that does look like the layout that (sometimes? always?) has thick caps. I think it might be more difficult to find a Moogle set than to find thick WYSE, though!

It's not just the layout, but I remember the thick caps also having just a slightly different look to them.   I could be full of ****, but I think I may be right.

I would be interested if anyone has more info on IDing thick Wyse caps, all I know is that they always seem to be on that layout. I don't know anything about any particular "look" though, or even if that layout is at all a reliable way to ID them.

I used to see a lot more Wyse when I lurked Geekhack in 2013, I think it's fallen out of favor with so many keycap options these days.

KB is a from a WY-50 and should have the thick keycaps. Don't leave them in the sun or they'll turn yellow.

as far as I know there's not any difference in the legends, but the only stabilized keycap is the spacebar, so that's one way to tell if it has thick or not. I could pull my WYSE keycap box out and check.

I believe this works with soarer's controller code, so you won't even need the cable.

I know, me too.

The WY-50 has thick, the WY-60 has a similar layout but has stabilizers (and fulltouch caps) and thin. The Excellent WY-30 also has thin. AFAIK all versions of the WY-85, PCE and "gate array" have thin but I don't have any to check.

Thin and thick never seems to have ryhme or reason.  I've had mixed boards and I've had identical boards with different thicknesses.  It's always a gamble.
