Glad you liked the Cherry Black Filco. After trying Cherry Blacks on a numpad I can see their appeal for gaming. Frankly, if people are REALLY serious about gaming they probably should get a keyboard for general typing and another for gaming. I'm just not gaming enough these days on a PC to justify it.
Separate keyboards for typing and gaming would definitely be an optimal solution. In my opinion, games (first person shooters at least) are better to be played with high resistance switches which are linear. Simply makes moving around more accurate and faster.
Though, I prefer the blacks over browns for typing too, for one simple reason, being the much smaller amount of typing mistakes. Only thing missing is tactility. If I was to get another keyboard for typing, that would probably be the Model M.
