So I thought it would be pretty awesome to do a record swap with people here. I've probably sent records to 6 or 7 individuals here already, been sent a few stellar records from others as well  I used to host a big one for the town I lived in when I ran a record store once a month, and everyone had the month to shop around for their partner for that month, and we'd all get together at the store and swap records. Obviously we sadly won't be meeting up monthly just to hand off records, but getting a record from someone else is still just as special.

I thought it would be really cool to organize a monthly swap between GeekHackers. Just so there would be no pressure, each month would be run separately, so if you needed to give your wallet some love for a month that wouldn't be any kind of problem. I would just see who is interested around the beginning of each month and post up a list of pairings, and try to make it so that people were getting records from different individuals each month.

Interested? Want to see this happen? Or should this thread just be buried into obscurity? It takes off a little, I'll start properly organizing it

Yea we had some big plans for the vinyl swap thing..then time went on...we forgot....and over the last six months I've really been low key on vinyl. I would have to not be part of anything of the sort these

I'm not really into vinyl but I was a subscriber to Decibel magazine. If someone wants really heavy stuff (grindcore, etc) on flexidisc, I'd send that out.
