A wild "refund" appears! It's super effective!
Except the package was clearly shipped before the refund request was even filed.

This whole thing's a joke; sort it in private.

You said you'd send it and then didn't say that you couldn't so you'd do it the next day - he went without a message for a whole day so he filed for the refund. Tough ****, your fault.

Ohhh noooo a whole day!
What creamy said, he could and personally should of waited at least 3 days in my opinion without having to cause this issue, if Ghost did open a claim that without giving a reasonable time to get a response thats ****ty to do no matter who they are.

Also I love it when things like this happen, at least we know whos paying the big money for the keys :p

how else do you think he became a mod?

I'll post my side since synjin decided to make all of this public.

Synjin and I have spoke off and on since I first joined. I have always gave him benefit of the doubt when drama comes up, and have never judged him for it. He approached me needing to fund some new purchases and we agreed and two items and a price. This was around noon EST on Wednesday. I asked about shipping and he said he was in class and couldn't ship them until the following morning. The next day we spoke some more about random topics, and I asked about shipping again. This was in the afternoon. He said he was in class until late and his wife had the caps and would be shipping them and he would have the tracking info shortly. We last spoke last evening around 7-8pm. I pmd him twice today asking for shipping info, and decided at 3pm today that I was going to just cancel the invoice due the uneasy feeling I had, and the zero response about shipping info. I received tracking about 10 minutes after that.

Since then synjin has posted all this bull****. I did not know that a cancellation request through pp would freeze any funds. Call me naive, stupid, whatever, I don't care. I have never had this happen to me.  In regards to long GBs, this is not a gb. This is a transaction amongst two individuals for $400. I do expect the caps to be shipped quickly. I expect it to be your number one priority.

While we are here, I work full time 40-50hr weeks and go to college full time in the evenings. I am able to have things i trade or sell  shipped within 24hrs normally. There have been circumstances where it has been 24-48, but I communicate that to the other person in advance. I guess what I'm trying to say is that USPS shipping is convenient and should not take long to ship.

Regardless of everything, I apologize for freezing your funds. As soon as I receive the caps, j will close the dispute, since if j do it now I will be unable to open one in the future.

If anyone has any questions for me, or question my morality in all of this, the floor is yours. I'll be as transparent as I can since synjin decided to do this.

I was unable to reply because we were messaging through reddit and I wasn't able to check reddit as I've forgotten. I didn't reply for 20 hours doesn't mean freeze my accounts and prevent me from purchasing anything for the duration of a few days until you receive the caps.

I can assure you that you will not find a single person in any forums or reddit subs that I've dealt with who did not receive an item I shipped them in the exact condition I described it weather it be trades, sales, or partial trade with a purchase.

I had perfect dealings with Ghostjuggernaut, but congrats Synjin for being the newest member of my blacklist since you don't know how to deal with issues maturely. :thumb:

Considering the issues with you "receiving caps" in the past I honestly agree with Ghostjuggernaut.

Just because you have had perfect dealings with someone does not meant that it applies to everyone that person has dealt with. You would be just as upset if you have multiple purchases in line and you suddenly can't buy rare hard to find items because some guy decided to freeze your account because you shipped his caps a day late.

Like I said, I apologize. I was nervous due to the nature of all of this and jumped the gun. My fault. I had no idea that you pp funds would be frozen.

It seemed odd that you did not reply to me, when we were talking regularly the prior 3 days. So yes, a large gap in replies concerned me.

I think I've stated my peace through the process. If anything new needs answering I will gladly reply. Otherwise I will publicly update once the package arrives and apologize again.

Sorry for the undue drama, and the issues with your PayPal synjin.

From what I can see here:

- Ghost didn't get your account locked, he just cancelled the invoice. Its not really his fault that paypal locked your account.

- Posting publicly really wasn't necessary.

Your naive for doing it, always give people a little more time like I said 3 working days is usually enough incase something happened then ask for a refund.
This is a transaction amongst two individuals for $400. I do expect the caps to be shipped quickly. I expect it to be your number one priority.

He didn't keep his promise and kept him uninformed.

People are only human and make mistakes, that doesn't mean you freeze their money without question.

If PayPal decided to freeze his account, that isn't Ghost's fault. That was PayPal's decision based on a number of factors. Ghost didn't call up PayPal all like 'sup, imma need you to lock dis **** down aite?'

I think communication is important if a lot of money is on the line. Not responding for a full day is a bit concerning, and perhaps he was just worried.

Well he filed the claim... There would be no difference in waiting a couple days and filing then.

oop seems like he just canceled. Didn't know they locked accounts with that. Never mind!

I like both guys, but knowing Synjin's collection - I really doubt he'd ever skam over caps only worth $400. With the transactions we know of I'd have still felt very confident at that point.

The main problem I have is that this is a personal matter that was taken to public to do nothing but create drama. Synjin was as quick to post this thread as Ghost was as quick to file a complaint, however Ghost did say that he did not know that it would freeze Synjin's account and I never knew that could happen as well. There was $400 on the line for Ghost, he gave Synjin the benefit of the doubt considering his history but I would be cautious going in with the trade as well. That's just how I see it, obviously both parties could have dealt with the situation better but there is absolutely no point of bringing this to the public unless the situation happened to worsen.

At first, I also thought Ghost might have "jumped" on and filed a PayPal claim or complaint, but after reading some more, it's clear to me that Ghost only cancelled an invoice (which is no big deal), and whatever happened on Synjin's side the transaction is really not directly the cause of Ghost cancelling an invoice.

I don't see any problem with this, just a bit of complaining.

Yea... I'm much more active on MM than here, but if a buyer did this to me I'd be pretty salty, and would at the very least air my grievances to the mods over there. If the problem is a mod, what are you going to do? Public exposure is the only thing that'll change that kind of behavior going forward. And needless to say I wouldn't be selling anything to that person probably ever.

Whatever synjin's past is... I have no idea. But it doesn't seem relevant here. If you're in GJ's position and are worried that these are just going to never ship (after 20 freakin hours, c'mon man, **** comes up), there is no difference to you whether you initiate the dispute now or two days from now. Like, ok, if you got in a car accident or your pet got sick and you need the money fast, fine, but don't just do this **** for giggles. If you're in this community for any length of time, and especially if you've seen these failed or super-delayed GBs, you HAVE to know that any adverse action is bad for the longterm health of a Paypal account. Even if you don't know that your one dispute is going to freeze the whole thing it's a **** move.

No, Ghost definitely filed a dispute with PayPal. It was in the initial photos that Synjin posted (and has since taken down). Ghost filed a dispute stating that the items had not been received. This is consistent with PayPal freezing Synjin's funds.

The issue here was a lack of communication and preemptive action (and reaction) from both sides. Now kiss and make up.  :thumb:

The issue I see with what has been said is that ghost already paid the invoice. Then cancelled it? To me, if you paid something already, you either wait for shipment, or request a refund. Not cancel the PAYMENT (not the invoice). That's what got Synjin's account locked.

For everyone confused.

He paid the invoice

I wasn't able to respond after 20 hours and shipped a day late

He filed a dispute that froze my account because he said he wants a refund for not getting his item.

Paypal is unfreezing my account now because the person. I talked to updated the tracking info. Thy said that he filed the complaint even if they recommend that the buyer give the seller 5-7 days go ship the item before filing a dispute and escalating it.

So from what Ghost said, he didn't exactly file a complaint, but just cancelled an invoice.

The issue I see with what has been said is that ghost already paid the invoice. Then cancelled it? To me, if you paid something already, you either wait for shipment, or request a refund. Not cancel the PAYMENT (not the invoice). That's what got Synjin's account locked.
+1 on what JD said Ghost should of waited it seems to mainly his problem this time not Synjin :/

The dispute was mainly due to him changing his mind about spending the money.

The issue about the shipping delay was simply a portion of it.

I'd like to apologize publicly as well.

I was partially at fault because I should have been more attentive to your messages and I also should have kept him updated ith his package. I definitely will learn from this so it does not happen again.

Synjin is just mad because he thought he was the only one allowed to scam people
I'd love to see proof of me scamming someone. Everything in the past has been proven false accusations fueled by misinformation.

I wanted to let everyone know that I received the package from Synjin without any issues.

Again, I would like to apologize to Synjin for making assumptions based on rumors.  Apart from my mistake, everything went really well working with him.
