Fix lightweight Switch (help)
« on: Fri, 17 March 2017, 07:52:58 »
Keyboard: Razer blackwidow chroma stealth

so i didn't noticed until now my "A" key feels different
it has a tactile bump, but its kinda lightweight than all the other keys, like its smooth to press down and lighter than the other keys that's why it more noisy
any fix for this? Only letter "A", Stealth (Orange)  is equivalent to "Mx browns" btw

It seems like you would have to replace the switch by desoldering and swapping it with a new one. That really isn't an option though, since you can't just buy stock of these switches. If anything, just swap it with another switch from the same board that you don't use as much. I'd just recommend staying away from razer in the future - their switches tend to be terrible (as you can tell), they're incredibly overpriced for what you do actually get, and they basically force you to use their near-spyware software.

You might need to replace the "A" key's spring :)
