DIY Numbpad Kit
« on: Sat, 29 April 2017, 05:12:39 »
At some point (when I can find a kit) I'm gonna build a 96key board. I figure in the mean time I can get a numbpad kit to practice and to have a numbpad in the mean time. I see 3 kits, Satan Pad off Alieexpress which looks good but doesn't seem to be programmable, The Felix from unikeyboard which is programmable but kinda ugly and pricy. Also got a bluetooth one up ob mass drop but it doesn't seem programmable and is pricy. Any other options around? Should I just go for a premade one and if I really wanna mess with it I could de solder and re solder switches to it?

Consider MOZ' SAMpad, kicad source files are provided so you can add or remove whatever you wish.

Right, then your options are those you listed, unless you can find anything useful here.
