Hello,

on my plate mounted DasKeyboard I want to replace the rattly costar stabs.

On this GB https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=95031.0 the initiator said they are pcb mount only, while kbdfans write on their site https://kbdfans.cn/products/gmk-screw-in-stabilizers that they are both.

So I'm a bit confused. If they are pcb mount only, what would be a good alternative?

I'm not sure, but I think cherry stabs won't fit on plates designed for costar ones. You might want do double check that before you buy one.

Well, I asked the question to double check. Can't find any info, so I was hoping on the collective geekhack knowledge  ;)

Nope Costar is a whole different story then Cherry stabilizers.  You cant change them to cherry stabilizers. I have seen people make custom plates so the keyboard can have plate mounted cherry stabilizers. Other then that there isn't really anything else you can do besides maybe using grease may help it.
