I need advice on springs mod for Tealios switch.
« on: Sun, 04 August 2019, 22:36:05 »
I decided to use tealios switch for my next custom build. However, the tealios stock springs seem too light to me.

I’m currently using cherry mx back & clear and for this build, I’m looking for something right inbetween them.

After review some srings product on SpritDesign, I think 78 or 85 might be good for me, but I’m not sure what is the best in oder to get some thing right inbetween cherry black & clear.

So please give me some advice:

-   What is the difference between P & S (sprit design springs)? I read your description but my English level couldn’t help me to understand how they work :(
-   Please give advice, 78 or 85, S or P?
-   I planed to use GPL 205 g0 lubrication for switchs & springs, is this ok?

Thank you for your kind attention & really looking for your help.

1. In all honesty I can't feel the difference between S and P springs in a blind test. I however used the lighter version so maybe someone can chime on the heavier ones if there's an actual noticeable different (I have the 63.5S/P, 65S/P)
2. See above about S vs P, 78 or 85 is really up to you since it's such a personal thing.
3. Should be fine.

Tealios come in 4 different weight springs... 62, 65, 67, 78.
I would avoid buying from SPRiT at all possible because he has scammed people in the past and still has not corrected his actions as far as i understand.
If you want something heavier than a Cherry Black, I would say yes the 85g would be a better choice.

Tealios v2 only come in 67g. I think the range you provided is for Zealios.
