Hey all, my name's Dan.

I've been using mech keyboards for over a decade, but have only recently started to get into the world of customs. That happened a little earlier than I was intending as I had a nightmare with the production 60% board I got for trying the form factor so I decided to just build my own lol. I built a Tofu/DZ60 last year and I'm now looking for something a little more premium.

Currently waiting for the Think v2 GB and the Vega IC has got my attention so I may well end up with one of those too. Also looking to make Unit-01 my first GMK set.

Welcome, there is quite a big UK/EU presence in the community here. Sounds like some solid GBs to join as well.

Lots of the discussion side of the hobby takes place in various discord servers (there are ones for the hobby, and region specific like the UK etc as well as vendors and designers).

We are also planning a UK meet-up for November (assuming Covid is behind us enough to safely hold it), which will be meetup 8 for the UK

Yea I saw there was a London meet coming up, definitely considering it.

I'm in a couple of keyboard-related Discord servers, I did see that there was a UK one when I was looking at the meet thread. I'll get on that.
