About: Deep in the red, you look at your losses and turn to your wife. She has not had a real date in months and she knows the look in your eyes. As the intro to her favorite show plays, she wonders, "What is it this time," shrinking into the couch. Is it an AMC or GME dip? A once in a lifetime chance to buy another poocoin? She's unsure what a mechanical keyboard is, but one thing she knows, it's ramen and netflix tonight.


Concept: Late while sitting on the toilet browsing r/wallstreetbets and r/superstonk, a vision strikes of a keycap set with all red surrounding the enter key. You don't care about the price, there is only one option.  The diamond blue and dollar green reminds you of why you buy, a red sell button reminds you of the fated paperhands. Kits selected to simplify choosing your preferred color scheme.  This is a unique mix and match selection with an uncommon colorway.


Reality: Design started June '21 with a gradient of red on right of board and designed 'Ape' font used for legends.  It was a mess, pre-interest provided feedback and a redesign cleaned up the look.  This is a first design and group buy, so kitting was a learning experience, to say the least.  Kits may be rearranged pending feedback here, thank you for reading and please help out if you enjoy the work!

I am not that much into memestocks/WSB. But for people who are, this looks pretty great. Love the arrow legends. Maybe you should promote it there as well. Many people with some money (if they didnt yolo too much) there with small monkey brains like us who will invest in GBs

I think I went a little too all out with the meme modifiers and could do a set of standard modifier kits, just don't know how to make things not too expansive.

Kitting is a drag, but development is fun so I will continue to produce content. I wanted to get things posted since I've been working and learning for a month and could be DOA, so far interest seems good though! Hoping for lift off, then to the moon, center of the galaxy, edge of space!

Going to find a way to offer unmodified legends and move the strong together stuff into its own kit.

I've been working on color arrangements based on the Black/yellow green,blue,red scheme for nearly a month.  I was working hard to get things to a point where the concept was conveyed so I could begin to get some feedback.  Now that I have the IC post I can take a few days off (this weekend), the first in a while. I have been non-stop working on this project with all my free time.

There is a lot more work and I think there is great potential for a real unique kit, and I will continue to develop and take user's feedback into account.

Since this is a SP ABS specced set: legends are not possible on convex spacebars. Also legends are limited to the top surface of a key (and also not right up to the edge, there's like a 1-2mm margin all around) so you cannot have the lines going down the sides of the arrow keys.

Uh oh, lessons to be learned.  Thank you for that feedback, beyond contacting vendor do you have a specific resource for the legend restrictions?

Colours are fine for a Bloomberg terminal set. Would prefer with regular text mods instead of low-tier memes, regular space bars in base and novelties outside of the base kit.

I appreciate gagging Lloyd, lol.  Yes I rushed this and made a mistake moving to the [IC] with only the meme offerings.  I am going to let things rattle around in my dome for this weekend and come back with a Phase update.  I don't know if I've said it here but I've been designing and playing for too long and need to get the idea on the board and take some criticism so I can get my concept in order.
